 Is he licking his front legs, back legs, or both? Did he start out with a rash or irritation on inner legs? My boy hits his front legs with urine sometimes, would that be a factor? Could try simply cleaning these areas with a dampened wash cloth once or twice a day to see if this makes a difference as urine can be an irritant to sensitive skin. Is he licking over joints? Sometimes a dog will lick at pain sites. Have read that cresties can have joint disorders. Of course the vet is the only one who can diagnose and treat your pet and some allergy reactions are lifelong and difficult to treat.
