Do any of you have a crestie that seems to just be one grumpy little princess? Constantly?! I realize that a certain amount of growling is to be expected but this one seems to be in a pertetual state of growling and snarling. We've even put up a no dogs allowed on the furniture rule into effect and that doesn't seem to help anything. However if she is by her self with you she is fine. She came from my brother-in-law's house and once we took in her and two others we learned just how snotty she is.

I've thought that perhaps she is worst when it gets dark and maybe she is slightly night blind however I wonder about that even. She will sleep or get up on the couch with others but only after they're there first. She will not tolerate them coming up when she was there first. Yes the no dogs allowed rule isn't enforced all that much since my Chyna was absolutely devastated that she was no longer allowed up. don't blame her, this is her house first and wants to be with her people. I also let Gyp up because her being so skinny she has no body fat and it is winter. The poor thing is COLD!

Putting her down when she is carrying on like that seems to help a bit and I think that if we just continue to do so she will stop this behavior to a tolerable level (I know she will never stop doing it, that is just her temperment). She will even snarl at us when we put her down for being a grouch.
