What a wonderful thing you have done in adopting this little guy. When we got Roxy last September (page 11 in the Rehomed section) she was very subdued and afraid of strange people. She also loved the dark closet and would run to it peeing if startled. She didn't play and walked with her head and tail down and we accepted that she might be a serious quiet girl the rest of her life. But over time, she has started to emerge -- she even plays with toys now, and will sniff the neighbor's hand without too much anxiety. She is still afraid of loud noises, the broom, and popping sounds no matter how loud, but we are amazed at the change in her overall. She walks with her head and tail up and hasn't dribbled in the house in about a month. Patience seems to be the answer. Good luck and bless you
