Recently when driving home to utah from az in our motorhome, my baby cc started shaking her head and listing to one side. At first we thought maybe her ear had not cleared or (popped) from decending one of the many summits, but when it did not clear up after a few days, I called the vet. Based on the amount of puss he saw in her ear, he immediately put her on a heavy does of antibiotics. He came back a week later, and cleaned the ear out. He was persistant and kept squirting the fluid in there and letting her shake it out. He did this for about 30 minutes while continuing to look in her ear. He finally was able to get forceps in there and pulled out a foxtail. I was so glad he stayed persistent, as I know she would have just continued to have problems.
