How she does with other dogs really varies. I know my dogs get along well with everything but they were also raised around cats and dogs. The shelter should be able to tell you what the temperment is with others.

As for the murmer, you said low grade so I'd say there isn't much to worry about. Yes they are scary to have in your dog but unless they are experiencing problems with it (which would be a higher grade) I wouldn't worry so much. One of the ladies on here told me that she had a dog that came with a murmer (neglected dog) and once she got her dog on better food and improved the quality of life the murmer went away. I know that on my Chyna it comes and goes and actually isn't a heart murmer but a murmer between the heart and the lung, really hard to find and then poor dog has to be in a pretzel in order for them to find it. When I took her in to be spayed they did an EKG and found nothing.

My advice is to make sure your vet is aware of it and keep it monitored, other than that don't fret. Otherwise you'll be driving around town sobbing that your dog is going to die (yep that was me, long story short I went in for a free vet checkup and the numbskull vet told me that my Chyna had a level 3-4 which is well pretty bad. I had already lost a crestie to mid-high murmer). I guess that is my other advice make sure you have a competent vet check the dog.
