I don't know what you can do about the breeder...my concern is the pup. D-mange isn't as easy to treat as people think. The issue is an autoimmune issue with the dog. If it gets cleared up this time, it may return. Brace yourself for a not happy ending with this poor little one.

I would not return this dog, it is going to need alot of love and care. I had a wonderful little foster with D-mange. He was treated for it and went into a remission. It returned the next spring and became so out of control (even with treatment) that the kindest thing to do was put him to sleep.

I don't want to upset you, just warn you the road ahead for you and this pup may not be a happy one. I think most people don't take D-mange seriously enough.

If the breeder has this in her dogs, she should be put out of business.
