There is a grate that covers a plastic tray. The openings of the grate are too wide for our Crested's tiny paws - and it probably is very uncomfortale since it is hard plastic. Hope I get my $$$ back! I've re-posted my original message asking for help with "Litterbox Training". Hope someone out there has some info. Thanks again!!
