Last year I found a stray female CC Hairless (I named her Izzy- she had no ID tag and answers to it now) in Indianapolis and would like to find either a foster or permanent placement for her. My other dog, Maggie is a 9 year old mixed American Eskimo I adopted 6 years ago. She has been my only dog for the past 6 years and when Izzy came, Maggie began acting aggressively towards her. Izzy is quite a cuddler and wants to be by me most of the time which is probably part of the problem with Maggie accepting her. Plus Maggie is becoming blind and beginning to have some health challenges with her hips. I have had numerous consultations with my vet and an animal behaviorist, but there continues to be problems between them. I feel I've done my best in trying to make it work and sadly have concluded that I need to find another home for Izzy. She has been vaccinated (good until 11/09), spayed, microchipped, housetrained, and I've taught her basic sit and stay commands. . I really need to find another home for Izzy- she's a very cute CCH with an adorable face. I appreciate any assistance you can give about placing Izzy. I am willing to travel to bring her to a good home.
