Honestly, there is a 50/50 shot of housebreaking a former stud dog. It all really depends on the dog's previous life. Was he a kennel dog only or did he live in the house? If a kennel dog, your success rate drops dramatically. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it is difficult. I have a former stud dog, have had him 3 yrs and he's still a marking fool - he wears a belly band 24/7 unless he's outside.

As for the tooth, it needs to be looked at to make sure there's not periodontal issues going on. If not, then the mere fact that this person was using the dog as a stud with such a bad bite speaks volumes about his former life and the ethics of that breeder.
