I reinstalled win 98 on my transmonde vivante SE 233 ..it uses chips and tech 65555 video..now the screen is too small in high resolution video...it wont expand..it esd to work fine before I reinstalled WIN 98 again

I re-installed the correct drivers for win 98 and also from the CD that came with it..when I set the CMOS video mode setting to expand (full screen) the screen will not let me use 800*600 resolution in full screen like it did before when I take off expand its about 8" in 800*600 ...

if I turn on CMOS expand the screen will be full LCD size but high resolution setting will not work..
Is there some kind of special driver I need to fix this?

Is there some kind of special patch I need to install?
this is very frustrating because I found no info on this problem anywhere
