I have an HP compaq nx5000 laptop. I had some problems with XP and when I finally managed to fix them, reinstalling windows, another problem came up.
The icon of Power Options appear at the taskbar with the note "On AC Power", even when the laptop is not plugged in (instead of showing the % level of battery power).
