Today's Vivante story:

Hit some black ice on my bike friday morning and did a
full speed face-plant with the Vivante in my backpack.
Fsck! Anyway, when I got in I discovered the side of
the case was popped open. I snapped the case back in place
and booted...no problems! Oops...except the keyboard
wasn't working...bummer. Popping the keyboard out, I
found that the tiny plastic clip that holds the keyboard
ribbon into its motherboard connector is broken. After
much fiddling I got it back in place and the keyboard works.
I need to find a new way to keep it from falling back out
now. Glue? Anyway, everything seems OK. How is it
that ONLY a tiny plastic clip near the center of the
machine broke, when nothing could have touched it in there?

Anyway, I'm terribly impressed that nothing major
was broken!
