Hi Richard,

You may not need a replacement keyboard, unless it's really damaged (cracked or deteriorated).
The problem might be the keyboard connector became misaligned. This usually shows up as missing (dead) keys, often those close to the edges of keyboard (A,Q,Z PgUp etc.)
If this is the case or if you just want to check if it is you may want to read the how to realign the keyboard here:

#Quick note: if your keyboard is functioning mostly, then it's just slight misalignment, so you don't need to apply much force adjusting it, just shake the wire a little (observe it first), or press, so it's visually even.
