I don't have a definitive answer to you question, but I'm almost positive that ANY 2.5" HD should work in the Vivante SE. I have heard good things about IBM laptop harddisks, but don't have specific experience.

I've bought lots of computer hardware from Accessmicro.com and think they're a pretty decent company.

P.S. Sorry if this message isn't super helpful, but I wanted to make sure you got some kind of response. I just hate seeing the activity on this forum dwindle away and get taken over by hordes of people with Rockwell modems.
