This is a good idea, though it's kind of space hungry. I think it's not possible to fit all of model's CD's on a single site, unless you own a server :) I think tripod doesn't allow to upload exe-files, so currenly I'm not able to put those CD's right onto transmondesos.net. I'm might think of some other place for this purpose...?

Alternatively we could compile an aggregate SetUp-CD for all models including common drivers ( Video, DVD, Audio, PC card etc.) and branching model-dependent drivers. Since Jess stores one CD already one should think of those model-dependent additions, and we could ask her if it's possible to add it.

So the question is how could we classify those parts? I don't think there's many of model dependent devices ( internal modem ?)

Any ideas?

P.S.
By the way, Shane is absolutely right -- transmondesos.net is an effort to consolidate our experience and provide one with self-support information. And yes, it'a wide open for any contributions (especially troubleshoot sequences).
