Turns out the hard drive was not recognized by the BIOS. It ran, but the settings were not even close. It didn't match *any* of the 200+ fixed disk configs that the BIOS had either. Is there any way of "user defining" the fixed disk sectors, heads and clusters on a Viv SE? If not, the new IBM drive goes back, and I have no idea what drive to get that the BIOS will recognize.

Any suggestions?
