Hi Kawah,
I'm not sure how PartitionMagic works so may be it interferes with 0vmakfil utility, but from my experience of making suspend-to-disk partition, when you boot from 'power utility disk' you run fdisk and check what partitions you currently have, suspend partition is NON-DOS partiton. You delete this partition (again, I'm not sure if it's safe with Partitiion Magic results) and then upon exit from fdisk you run 0vmakfil -p260, and it creates new suspend-to-disk NON-DOS partition of 266M (that's how fdisk reports it)
Since you say that you've deleted your old suspend-to-disk partition, I'm not sure what really 'went wrong'. I'd try to use fdisk and see what's really is on the disk. In order to create this partition I think you should have contigious 260M domain on your disk, so I don't know whether Partition Magic was able to move your old partition this way.
Otherwise try to re-do all the steps. Also you may ask yourself if you really need this partition because it turns out suspend-to-disk works much slower proprtionally to amount of RAM you install up to 64M. I used it sometimes while I had 64M but now with +128M I found it to be unefficient (though I still have this 260M partition set). Some users report that without this partition you only get nag message about the missing partition, but you may try to turn it off if you switch to Suspend-to-RAM mode (but I cannot confirm this ).
Hope it helps,
AB
P.S. for some reason TransmondeSOS.net _is_ busy, I suspect this is NameZero's problem (domain name host) (??handling Florida tonight :). But you should be able to get to the site through http://computriots.tripod.com ( this is actually the page host)
