Why don't you try glueing the keyboard connector to the motherboard. Typically this clip doesn't break unless you have a strange habit of removing the keyboard often. When I worked for Transmonde, this plastic peice was indeed part of the motherboard. It did not have a separate part number and could not be ordered separately. On one occasion, I've had to personally go the pile of bad parts and "steal" a plastic piece off a bad motherboard. Have you asked them if they have any bad motherboards??
