From what I have read here, one slight possibility is that your CMOS battery is dead. However, I'm sure there could be MANY other things wrong. If you are the adventurous type you could try replacing the battery before you send it off.

I think most people have had reasonably good luck with this post-Transmonde repair company. But, you have to pay to ship the computer down to them. And, if you send a check, they will let your computer sit on a shelf somewhere until it clears. Just more delay. Send a money order if you're in a hurry. Also, I hope you have your warranty document or your original receipt to send to them to prove you're still under warranty. I don't think they have any of the original records from Transmonde.
