I also took my vivante se apart and soldered the the connection on the bottom side of the board. Then it came loose again. I did the same thing again, but this time I drilled a hole in the bottom of the casing the size of a pencil eraser. The next time it happens all I have to do is pull out the plug and solder it without taking it apart. What the hell, there's no warranty for it any more.
