Sounds as if your BIOS is set to use Suspend to Disk, and either the partition needed for this is missing or corrupted somehow. I believe 0VMAKFIL.exe is the program used to create this partition, and I think it has to be run before you do any other partitioning. It might just be easier to change your APM settings under BIOS -- to Suspend to Memory for example. It shouldn't cause any problems if you never you use the Suspend feature though.
