Sorry trent, I guess I wasn't real clear.
I do have a port replicator, brand new that I just received from ASE, the problem still happens.
I also have several other monitors in the house and each one has the same problem.
When I connect any of the monitors to my Toshiba Laptop, they work fine. This is why I'm lost.

Also the problem with the DVD isn't that it thinks that it is a CD, the problem is that to go from an LS 120 drive to the DVD, I first have to go to the CD then re-boot again with the DVD. Then the Computer will recognize the DVD as a CD but all will work fine.
