If it's the version of the motherboard which has the battery located behind the memory expansion slot cover on the back of the system, you're in clover ...

If it's the other version ... (the one I've got) ... it's *QUITE* a bit harder, and requires *ALMOST COMPLETE DISASSEMBLY* of the laptop ...

I've done it, and it wasn't pretty ... but my Vivante & I survived and are both working fine.

If you've got the nasty one, you can email me for guidance ... if you're local (SF Bay area), perhaps we could meet and I'll show you how it's done ...
