Subject: Have you had this experience with ASE Author: Frank Vorlicek [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10:05:56 01/01/00 Sat I had to send in my Vivante XL for an out of warranty repair. The machine came back OK and there was NO charge for whatever they did, for which I was obviously grateful. The machine came back without ANY INDICATION as to what might have been wrong with it.(I kind of suspect that the CMOS battery needed replacement, which they might have done at no charge to me). Do you think it is easy to find out what they did? TRY IT and good luck. What is YOUR experience? I simply want to find out what they did, so that I am prepared if it happens again. Generally speaking I am satisfied with their service, but there are a few rough edges, such as a lot of paperwork etc. Also does anyone have their phone number?
