I did a little more digging on the net and just found this sad news: Transmonde has gone out of business! In August, due primarily to competition.

You can read the article at

http://www.idg.net/crd_pc_81388.html

There is some support available. The following is from the article at IDG.

"Transmonde customers are not entirely without recourse, however. The company's Web site states that Taiwanese-based Advanced Semiconductor Engineering has agreed to provide some warranty and repair service to owners of Transmonde computers, through its U.S. subsidiary, ASE Technologies.

A link to ASE's home page generated an error message. An ASE spokesperson says Transmonde customers need to send service request to ASE by fax (714/739-3874)."

I went to the ASE website at

http://www.aseusa.com

and didn't get an error, but there was nothing more than a logo.

Anyone else heard anything?
