I've bought my SE in april of this year.
After running some tests I found the Bios was not entirely Y2K compliant. Transmonde sent me an update about two weeks before they went out of business.

So, if anyone needs this BIOS update, just let me know!

Follow these steps to "flash" the BIOS so your computer will be Y2K compliant.

1. This BIOS is for a Vivant� SE with a Pentium-II or Celeron processor AND a Chips & Tech 69000 video card. (VERY important)
2. Copy all four files to a bootable diskette
3. Boot to DOS (you may have to change the boot device to diskette in the system setup screen)
4. Read the message very carefully after it boots and follow the instructions.
5. When complete, remove the diskette and re-boot.
