The huge raven is a traipsing flirt one moment and a hellion nightmare the second. As soon as the cat proves itself hostile, Kehd raises himself as high as he can and flares his wigns, shrieking raspy notes of anger and demise. Maddie growls, ears flicking as much as a human's can, before she rises quickly from her seat to scoop the bird into her arms. Cradling the black-feathered crett, she returns to her chair, sighing.
"Poor Kehd. Why don't you go flying with Kaenr, and maybe find Tylrn or Xreki to play with?"
The familiar humanwords click in the raven's bestial mind, and he gives the woman a nip on the arm at the latter two names. Tylrn was a wolf and Xreki was a cat. Like he'd 'play' with them. Yet he alights from Maddie's lap and takes off out the window, where he's soon greeted by another raven of similar size. The Shadysider looks after them fondly.
"So, Jinx and Brahma, ne? They're cute."
The unusual word tumbles awkwardly past her tonuge.
