Dear Prayer Angels,
As I watch the nightly news, my heart is shattered by the daily loss and injuries to our troops. (6 more just today and over 30 injured!)
This war has gone on long enough. Too many of our young people are dying. And, now they are dying senselessly. The need to come home, to be with their parents, their siblings, their spouses, and their children.
I beg of you to pray along with me, for the Lord to put an immediate end to this senseless slaughtering of our troops.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for our brave young people, who have been sent thousands of miles away from their homes and their loved ones.
Father, I ask You to keep each and every one of them safety and beg that You send them home right now.
Please Lord, put an immediate end to this war and to the deaths of these young people.
Lord, Jesus, please, please... send each and everyone of them back to us as soon as it is possible.
I cannot believe that You, O' Lord are in favor of the daily deaths and maiming of our beautiful children. I cannot believe that You would endorse this endless killing.
"Vengeance is Mine", sayeth the Lord, and I truly believe that it is time that we turn this war over to You Lord. We have made decisions that are not our's to make. You are the One to deal with the craziness that these mad people have created. You alone will fix this.
I ask Lord, to soften the hearts of those in charge of this war and to show them that this is not their right to cause or continue. We have interfered in what is Your job to do. You have taught us to love. To love our enemies, as we love ourselves, which means that we have no right to kill, just as they have no right to kill our people...Your people. Thou shalt not kill is meant for all of us. Not just for an elite few.
Lord, I cannot believe that You would want our government to say that this war is backed by You. That it is approved by our loving God and Father.
I thank You Lord for the young people that You have spared and ask once again that You send them home now. Alive and safe. And, that the glory of the ending of this, be all Your's.
Let our young people come home and tell the rest of the world that our loving and caring God does not want anymore violence. Let them praise and honor You for saving their lives and allowing them to return home to where they belong.
I thank You and praise You, O Blessed Father and pray that You will make this happen immediately.
I pray all of these things in Jesus' Holy name.
AMEN!
Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray until each and every one of our troops is returned safely home, into the arms of their loved ones.
