Hey everyone!
Well Mel, I never said my sister said this was an easy year, she said she thought, as well as many other people, that this is the best year. But maybe not for those people who are unable to go out during the school year.
I don't know about you guys but I am really tired DURING school. I guess the late nights and english aren't too good for me....does anyone else find english puts them to sleep? I also have a tendency the past couple of days to have a siesta after school. *yawn*
Classes and teachers are not bad, I have done alright with the teachers execpt for maybe Mrs Pearce who I'm not that fond of, probably because she's making us write a 3/4 of a page answer to a question and hand it in on monday....
The new people are nice that I've talked to. John full idolises Joel for some strange reason, haven't even seen Marco or Ben? yet, but the rest are cool. Like Jimmy said Adam is a bit of a tosser, that tongue is just gross! But yeah I think they're nice. I spoke to Mary in history today, she's quiet and says she doesn't like the school because it is co-ed but hasn't made up her mind about the students yet. Has anyone else noticed that she doesn't sit very lady like? I'm not ratting her out if any of you take it that way, I just believe in being proper. Especially when wearing a skirt.
My parents are not telling me to study my ass off. I think they assume that I will try my best this year, and I have only had a reminder probably in the 2nd last week of the summer holidays.
Don't worry if you don't know what you want to do yet. As the old lady said to me on the bus the other day, we're allowed to not know what we want to do yet, we are after all only 16 years old and can't be expected to know what we want to do with so many career choices available to us. Am I the only girl who thinks this, but does anyone else wish they lived back in the olden times when women's jobs were at home looking after the house, cooking and cleaning and what have you? I don't mean the actual jobs themselves, but I mean they already knew what they were going to be doing for the rest of their lives, because it was expected of them that that was what they were going to do because that was the only acceptable place for a woman to be.
Anyway, just try your hardest at all your subjects and aim for the best you possibly can, and you will achieve your best.
But yeah, what Mel said, people chat in here and leave messages whenever you can! Bye bye!
