Subject: Speech for Peace

Our ever-growing kingdom has now found peace through war. I am a beast who is one to make treaties and friends instead of enemies. I, Kliset Starkust, am running for Secretary of Peace.
If I am voted for, I will listen to your advice, be active in and around our fort, be open to criticism, be kind,promise my utmost loyalty, and the ideals of the preservation of our Homeland. I promise to do all I can to help out and to side with not what is popular but what is right and sufficient to meet the needs of the beasts of Fort Nightshade.
We're in a perilous time when great beasts of character and honor must stand up to hold back the whip of tyranny, to help those whom perished under the whim of what is wrong. I promise to do just this and to give self-less service to our Homeland. I also promise not to be corrupted in any way.
Please vote for me, and let the bells of freedom ring in our hearts, and the joys of life fill our souls with laughter and love.

- Thank you, sir Shadow. Though, I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with your choice of war. I believe that we can accomplish what needs to be without having to go into war, or to settle a conflict we could avoid war by verbal confrontations in the means of doing so for the better.         War is necessary when other try to take what is rightfully yours. This could be anything, from a piece of land, to your liberty. But then, a war can be anything from a tempremental argument to full-fledged battles between thousands. War is necessary, as it is one of the few lasting justices. Death is the only true and lasting justice, but war is suitable to our purposes, for when beasts see others die, they become afraid of dying as well. That is when war ends. And I bring you this question; if Peace was not a justice and a choice to end war then why does Fort Nightshade have a Peace Secretary? OOC: No, not at all Shadow.         You my friend are blinded by your inability to see past the bloodshed of war! And it is the job of the Secretary of War to decide of when we go to war, not mine. You show the inability of not letting others have a second chance, when an enemy army could 'ave been threatened to do what they did/ will do...Your inexpeirence as a politician has recklessly converted you into one whom believes in killing us all if a foe was to come upon us!
