Subject: I saw the FABULOUS Miss Cook in Sondheim's Follies at LIncoln Center!

And I must say that I sincerely felt as though I had died and gone to heaven as Ms. Cook was singing to the audiences like a beautiful angel.

She was wearing a stunning sky blue beaded number with shimmery jewels embedded all through the bodice. Her lush and soft blonde hair was glistening as though she had a troupe of maidens brushing it for the regulation 100 strokes just before walking out on stage.

When Ms Cook's delicate feet stepped to the microphone to sing Losing My Mind, I just about lost mine, I was in such utter sheer delight! She has such grace, aplomb and charm that is apparent to everyone in just about every performance I've seen of her.

Never before has a voice or theartre performer touched my heart in such a beautiful charismatic way.

Thank you Ms. Cook, you truly are a a gift from God.

I was a little girl and daddy would always play that album with her on the cover at carnegie Hall, and I juts listened to it because I really had no choice! But then one day, my daddy heard me in the backyard doing some gardening, and without even knowing it, I must have been singing Vanilla Ice Cream, and he told me "See? that I must really have liked her all along, and that it wasn't just because of his influence, but that he was happy to have introduced her to me."

So I was very excited when he told me about this concert that she was going to be in of Follies, and it is one of my fondest memories I have with my Daddy, who has since passed on to greener pastures of our universe. I miss him so, and treasure that night we had together.

I too remember the blue dress she wore, and how lovely it was to see her sing in person!
