*A scowl crosses the vixen's elegant features as she is shaken free from the brute's neck. She tries to back away, but his jaws part and clamp down upon her foreleg despite her attempted avoidance. A squeal of combined indignance and pain escapes parted labrums, and she thrusts her sleek frame heavenward, head tucked to protect vitals. Her other foreleg flails wildly, nail first aiming for his tender, exposed barrel. Angling her figure sideways, she feels her captured leg twist with a flash of searing agony. With a shrill, pained whinny she kicks out with her unencumbered leg once more, aiming for the side of his head - his temple, to be precise. Perhaps that would cause him to loosen his vice-grip on her injured appendage*
