Subject: Tarrik About your post on the GB

Tarrik I just read your returned post about my gb info. The spawn is 17 minutes? OMG that sucks man. The reason I thought the spawn was 4 minutes because I was told by a source who told me his grouped camped it on his old server and got one. Is there a possibility that the spawn rates are different because of the age of the servers? I've been told that as particular items become more abundant in the EQ world, the spawn of the mobs become more rare. So if a server is fairly new like Quellious then there are less outstanding rare items. For example, When I went to camp the BBC, there was another group camping there also. Well basically no one in the world at the time had a BBC yet so the spawn was very fast. I think the troll spawned like every 10 minutes or so and out of the three spawns he dropped 2 BBCs. Same with the darkwood shield, the gnoll in HHP dropped the shield everytime he spawned. I don't mean to knock the spawn rate though because different mobs have different spawns. Like the gnoll that drops the Granite Tomahawk, he spawns like every 8 hours and he always drops the tommy. My opinion on the matter is that the spawns are faster when a server is new and much slower when the server is tamed similar to Rathe. But I guess I will find out within the next couple of days when we go to camp it. My group consists of all level 30's and I'll probably be lvl 32 by then. Do you think we can take the spawns there, being that you already been through it and all.
