She walked over with a smile on her black lips, glad to see him. This pack weren't... well, she had no idea what to think about it. The wolves were different, that were about it. And she'd lost her rank. "Hi, love," she said, nuzzling him. "I'm glad to see you, too bad this pack melting thing chost us our rank and pups..."

"No m'love, it hasn't cost us our pups. It just means we must work harder to deserve them. And we still rank fairly high by wolf standards, surely our new alpha's couldn't refuse our plea."
He sits back on his haunches, licking his lips in thought. A slow musing smile crosses his lips as an idea settles on the outskirts of his mind. After a moment of waiting for it to edge closer, he gives up and raises a hind leg to scratch away the annoying itch behind his right ear. Just as the foot goes into motion, the idea surges forth.
"Blessed, dearest, did we have permission to have pups before our arrival to this new pack? If so, then it is as if you are already pregnant...well, not really, but if they were promised then the alpha's most certainly can't refuse! Or we could....Hmmmmm...."
At loss for any more ideas, he cocks his head and looks desperately at his love.

"Nah..." she shrugged. "We didn't have permission to breed, so I think this is it. Hopefully things will change, if we stay active and do stuff we'll get a higher rank if we're lucky." She smiled and shook her body, 'fluffing' up her fur, feeling all weird. "What do you think of this pack, though...?"

The male stretches and leans his head on top of hers, whining softly with the pleasure of being around her.
"The pack is wonderful, the alphas are friendly, and the packmembers seem welcoming enough. What about yourself?"

"You're right," she said with half open eyes, feeling sleepy. She weren't too sure about 'friendly' alphas, but the rest seemed ok in her eyes. This weren't the worst pack to live in that were for sure. "Think I'll manage."

Smiling she layed down beside him, relaxed and tired. Curling together she fell asleep, wondering what their future would be like. It felt weird having someone else except herself to care for.
