trying hard to exist in a world overlooked
creator of compassion
destroy hope
loving the pain forced to my heart
voyeuristic intentions
creeping with my only livelihood
not seeing creativity for what it is
left alone with my depression
honoring the killer in disguise
can you see the slow demise?
not knowing of the evil
think all is as it should be
could you ever be wrong?
or do you really sing the inconsolable song of life
sad guitar riffs;deafening drum beats
brought on by the sole master of the universe
keeping your purity on hold
wanting to corrupt you, mold you into their own
forget the life you once held
existing in a world lacking love and compassion
try hard to remember
