You were old and regal,
in your day you were a queen.
But now your body goes back
to where it came from
like everyone else.

Your visits to the bathroom
were legendary.
"We didn't give in to the Nazi's
so we don't give in to the bladder"
War time spirit.

You were an inspiration to others.
Especially the old and retared.
"Kick their sticks away!" you shouted,
when you tried to give them
reasons to go on.

Big hats, flowery dresses.
Teeth like tombstones.
An overdraft the size of New Jersey.
Fags, booze and horses.
You were one of us but with servants.

You had a difficult life.
Always battling against
adversity and misfortune.
Lets us hope in your next life
You have a life of privilege and comfort.

Farewell Elisabeth,

Grandmother of the people.
A stiff in the ground.
