Subject: RE: Please explain Which is correct Father Son and Holy Ghost or Jesus Name

Which is correct Father Son and Holy Ghost or Jesus Name?

Lets begin in Eph 4:5 "One Lord, one faith, and one baptism" So obviously if there is one baptism one of these two baptisms are wrong. Look at the examples in the bilbe Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, and Acts 19:5 all these verses is where baptism took place in the Name of Jesus. I Cor 6:11 "... ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified, in the Name of Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God."

Now lets look at another scripture II Cor 13:1 "This is the third time I am coming to you, In the mouth of two or three witness shall every word be established." I have showed you several witnesses of baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ. The only verse in the bible that mentions Father Son and Holy Ghost is Mat 28:19. There are no examples in the bible of anyone ever be baptized in Father Son and Holy Ghost. The apostles knew exactly what the Lord meant when he told this commandment. They knew what the name of the father, son, and holy ghost was. They understood that the name of the father son and holy ghost was Jesus. Thats why throughtout the bible every baptism was in Jesus Name.

Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, where by we must be saved." Col 3:17 "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

If there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism obviously the apostles baptized the correct way. So the only baptism is in the Name of Jesus.
