Inside the city where thieves reside, a pair of eyes watches steadily at the passing people. Charlotte's eyes go by unoticed as they appear to be cat eyes in the shadows.
She notices two men harrassing an old woman. "Ah, well that just isn't right," she says to herself. She leaves the darkness and approaches the three people. She repeats, "Well this just isn't right."

(sorry about that!) "Well, well, what a pretty girl... And what's not right you say?" The bigger one says. "How old can this woman be? 70 atleast? Don't you have a little pride?" Charlotte said disgusted. "So we'll take you instead," the other one said. The larger one made the first move: the floor. He was fast, but the second one was faster. "And there he goes," Charlotte announced. The old woman thanked her, but charlotte remained silent.         The curve flattened itself out. "I've noticed that people who call each other friends become dependant on each other. I've no use for other people," she paused, "I've seen what has happened when people go soft. They get betrayed. As for the shadows they are comforting to me."
