Thanks for pointing out a few of the facts as many in the rightwing media work to portray Reagan as something his most definately is not. I thought that "fair and balanced" phrase was copywritten by FauxNews and cannot be reproduced w/o their permission? Well, I guess it doesn't matter, since the station appears to be employing the term ironically (thanks, Al Franken).

In any event, it has been quite an interesting weekend following the news upon the death of Ronald Wilson Reagan; six letters in his first, middle, and surname. The aforementioned information outlet falling all over itself in an attempt to cannonize Reagan as, I guess, the grandfather of the country and many of the more responsible sources of news being very gracious in their reporting by not mentioning too many specifics of his presidency. All that is missing is some crazy call to vote for Bush this November and "win one for the gipper" in some inane ultraconservative election dedication!
