Subject: Is it important to be grounded?

Being a novice here, I'd like to know what your stand is on dirt? I mean it.....DIRT.

Here's the deal...when I was a little kid, my mom just WOULDN'T let me play in the dirt very much. AND, when mom supervised my bath, she'd try to SCRUB OFF ALL DARK SPOTS because "They're dirty, Betsy," she said "and need to be removed!"

Aside from the fact my mom is a non-practicing Southern Baptist, she has a GREAT AVERSION TO DIRT.

The upshot is, when I grew up, I began to find out I REALLY LOVED DIRT. It's just great! After all, flowers grow in it, food does too, animals live in it (and poop there as well). I can't imagine what I'd do without it. After all, being a potter, DIRT IS MY GAME!

Please let me know what you think about dirt. I'm kinda wondering if anyone else likes it too.
