So much to say about this episode!

Harm getting the Silver Star – how cool was that? Way to go CatMom – you called it!

Mac's "I'm so proud of him" smile while the Admiral was pinning the medal on Harm. It's the first time since Critical Condition that my shipper heart has felt anything. After I thought "oh, how sweet," my next thought was "are we ever going to see anything shippy from Harm?" I assumed no, but I was wrong!

HARM IN BED!!!!!! Sorry to shout, but HOLY POTATOES BATMAN! I know it was VERY short, and all we really got was a naked shoulder, but STILL! It's better than nothing. I feel the need to rewatch that part in slo-mo. Anyone know how to do screen caps? (this is me melting into a puddle of goo)

The way this episode flowed really reminded me of the "good old days" in Season 4. Lots of banter, the cases were interesting and a bit humorous.

Now, about the "visions" and the whole baby deal thing. This is JHMO, so take it for what it's worth (and if you're not a shipper, you're probably not going to agree with me. That's ok, just wanted to let you know up front!).........

I personally hated the thought of TPTB bringing up the baby deal again. I don't want Harm to want Mac just as a potential mother for his child. I want him to love her, and I want any little baby jaglets to be a result of that. NOT just because their biological clocks are ticking and there isn't anyone else convenient to have a baby with.

That said, I really don't mind what they did with this episode. I think Harm does love Mac, and vice versa. He knows he loves her, she knows she loves him, they're just a little clueless as to the others' feelings. But, I do believe that the feelings have been established. Non-shippers can disagree all they want, but you won't budge me on that one.

I think Harm sees himself settling down with Mac in the not-so-distant future. But, like most men, he's still wary of commitment. Maybe that's why he freaked a little when Mac made her slip. Juvenile? Maybe. Typical male reaction? Definitely! I know my dh had a similar look on his face the first time I mentioned I was ready to start trying to have a baby, and we'd been married for 3 years and talking about babies for 1! So, Harm freaked a little. Big deal!

I think what this episode shows us (shippers) is that Harm is thinking about it. Thinking about what you say? I don't think his visions just represent the thought of having a child. They represent the thought of him "settling down" with Mac. And while he's a little freaked, he's not running screaming in the other direction. Oh my goodness this is progress! I would have loved it at the end if, when Mac asked if he was worried that she wanted to move up the timetable, Harm had responded with a "maybe I do". Still, I loved the exchange in her office. It showed two people who know they have a future together.

However, I still think there could be a very strong argument that there's some hot monkey lovin' happening off screen.....
