Being the non-shipper that I am, I had to say that this ep was probably the comic version of "Lifeline" for me. As in: "I cannot BELIEVE they went THERE!" LOLOL!

The whole Maternity Parade was just hilarious, IMO, and certainly showed TPTB's ability to laugh at themselves! Kudos, PTB! Altho, I did think Harm had his little "halucination" one too many times! In "Retreat, Hell", he only saw Mac in "new" ways 3 times. In THIS ep, it had to be half a dozen! What does that mean???? That he's TWICE as interested in seeing Mac "in the family way" than he is in seeing her in ball gowns or bath towels?? Chew on that one for a while!!

I WAS pleased that not only did they actually talk about the baby deal, but also that they kind of danced around the subject of civilian jobs. It's a mature and realistic conversation for them them have. Kind of like, "Hey, we've been doing this for a while, and we're pretty good at it, so why don't we try to make more $$ at it??" HOWEVER . . . . that snippet of conversation DID cause me to think, Hmm . . . maybe one of them will decide to resign his/her commission before make-or-break time on the baby deal (in order to avoid that old "dippin' the pen in company ink" problem Harm says he has).

Of course, can you imagine poor Harm that whole ep - however many days it covered - thinking about the promise he made, and HOW that promise would have to be fulfilled??? No wonder he was having halucinations and night sweats, etc! Thinking about sex with Mac for a week and not getting to do anything about it! Poor guy! LOL!

Anyway, I hope that if TPTB decide to write Harm as the man of his word (and man of his Sword!) that he is, they will allow the whole "promise" to come to fruition naturally between them, and not be forced because Harm promised and they have to.

I really liked this ep - it was fun! Yay!

p.s. How many eps after 8+ years have the words "standards" and "conduct" in them?????
