I must say, I did like the episode last night. In the first place, Harm finally got his medal. In the second place, Sturgis got his medal, too. In the third place, Mac got her dander up big time and that was nice to see. It was also nice to see Harm save her bacon this time.

Let me ask you: Did anyone else see a kind of role reversal going on last night? This time, Mac was the hot-rodding go-getter on a high profile case, and Harm was the one trailing along behind to pick up the change. And isn’t it usually Mac (or Bud) bailing Harm out? This time it was the opposite. Harm was the one who came up with a way to save Mac’s case from disaster.

As far as the BP goes, same thing. In that last scene, Mac was the one who had the upper hand in that whole conversation and was almost indulging Harm and his concerns. I did think he was kinda cute the way he brought it up though.

Harm wasn’t very Harm-like in a couple instances last night. There was that last scene and the accident case. Why DIDN’T he ask Bud to help him with the lawsuit? Was he really supposed to be that unnerved, or are we supposed to believe that Harm, who fought for him with the review board, didn’t think he could handle that? That didn’t make a lot of sense to me.

I’ll probably have more to say on the baby promise (like why weren’t either one of them more embarrassed to be talking about the timetable?), but I’ll have to think about that some more. Like – who is really waiting for whom now?
