In reply to: David 's message, "I watched GOCP on Friday, and i have been thinking about the episode all weekend. I love it. They have everyone who had ever been on JAG in any major way on that episode; most of them playing parts unlike the ones they usually play --Palmer as Tom Boone, etc. . .Inside" on 23:05:50 06/30/05 Thu

I watched the episode as well, and I loved it too. I loved the story, and the use of all the actors in different roles. My opinion about Harm Sr. and Jenny is that it didn't go any fatrher than kissing. They both said it, Harm said " You're kissing him" and she sesponded with "who are you kissing" (meaning Trish). I do think it was just comfort. (NT) -- spudz, 10:55:58 06/27/05 Mon

David, I really like being naive, but I think Harm Sr and JL did the deed. I think that's why Harm Sr. was late for the meeting the next morning and that's why Harm says to her "I never knew....about you and my father". If I put my "la la" hat back on, I suppose I could surmise that they spent the night talking. If you've seen the original (I assume that's what you saw on CH) rather than the USA version since it cuts the second kiss, that may color your opinion. Also, those gold wings aren't passed out like merit badges to encourage heartbroken singers. (NT) -- TH, 12:10:34 06/27/05 Mon

LOL - you know... in a sense... the wings just might get passed out on 'merit'... LOL.. but I suspect that would have more to do with the fame of dress whites too.. LOL (NT) -- Chris K - down to 8 minutes.. LOL., 13:27:36 06/27/05 Mon

I saaw it on 'History Television' so I saw both kisses. The short one before he left REALLY didn't look like he was kissing his sister goodbye, even if it was short. I actually reminds me of a certain kiss in a certain bar; though not quite THAT steamy. (NT) -- David, 13:31:19 06/27/05 Mon

Well, Harm did have a half brother!! But that was after HRS escaped and couldn't for the life of him find his way back to the good ole USA. That story line always bothered me considering how much he loved his son. But in the episode you are referring to I think it may have been to show that HRS was human. Harm had him on such a pedestal so for Harm to realize he was just a man living in the circumstances of the moment helped him come to terms with his death. (NT) -- JBgirlygirl, 12:46:02 06/27/05 Mon

I always believe that yes, HRSr and JL did do the deed that night. They were both hurting, and needed someone. Yes, the wings are pretty much the giveaway, and it's what would have given Harm the clue too. I've always thought as you say that GOCP was to take make HRSr more human to Harm. Up until that point, he still had that childish hero worship of his Dad, he needed to see him as a man. (NT) -- CM>^.,.^<, 20:00:49 06/27/05 Mon
