Loved the scene were it is getting darker in AJ�s office and Harm and Mac are talking. But what struck me about the episode was Webb talking to AJ about not leaving a man behind and how that is exactly what the agency does. I've decided they knew AJ was leaving in a year so they intentionally tried to piss the fans off so we wouldn't miss him when he left. It's the only explanation because AJ went after this guy, and he went after his daughter the previous season, he went after Harm and Mac in Russia... AJ also went after Harm in Close Quarters when he was trapped in that flooded brig. I do think that TPTB deliberately made AJ less lovable so we wouldn't miss him. If you think about it, most of the characters that were going to be gone got changed in their last episodes into people we barely recognized - Singer, Lindsey, AJ, even Webb. they tried.... we din't see much of the expressive harm we're all used to... Most of the scenes he was giving left him little more to do than imitate a cardboard cutout.. All the excitement and responses that were so much a part of Harmon Rabb were mostly lost in season 10- I mean even in the long anticipated horse episode - all he did was stand around or nod- barely spoke, never smiled.... the scene with the man in a cave could have been a fabulous update of the black jet scene - instead - he looked like a buckingham palace guard, (NT) -- Chris K - remember how excited we got to see him inthe thick of things again in that one episode in Iraq?, 07:20:59 05/06/05 Fri

AJ weathered Laura's death (murder); he survived Dr. Walden and the evil little Danny. Perhaps Meredith was just too much. Wonder why he didn't go back to his wife. She obviously still loved him, and he surely wasn't having any luck with other women. (NT) -- Carol R, 00:51:48 05/06/05 Fri

I certainly like to think of him as happy... I was always disappointed they didn't at least mention AJ when the sox won the world series. Even though it would have had to be several episodes after the fact, it still could have been brought up and slipped into a conversation instead of some of the inane crap they had everyone spewing at eachother. I would have gladly taken a couple more minutes of Harm and Bud talking about AJ at the christening instead of Mrs. General... I still have no idea what the point was of her character... And I forgot the line about Mac leaving the nunnery... I always wished if she had dated someone that tptb would have let her date the italian cop.. He was so funny when he said Harm was either rich or dumb and then begrudged speaker phones. OKay the answer to THIS question is.... when they spoke about Mac's father's funeral and the room sort of darkened and then they left to go pick out a car.... the whole conversation about if you take your girlfriend with you you might as well buy her a ring...
