Another interesting thing that struck me about STWOA was the placement of Harm's refrigerator and the bookshelves next to it. The set was changed only for this particular episode, presumably so that Harm and Annie could have some privacy while Josh was sleeping in the other room. When I saw the ep for the first time, I distinctly remember pointing at the screen and yelling, "That's not how his apartment is normally set up!" I loved watching AJ in this ep. The way he was wrestling with Josh in his office, made sure Harm's apt. had security, threatened Webb for info, fought off the bad guys, etc. That's the AJ I loved. I agree, I don't think Harm was ever portrayed as gormet cook. He could make pasta and grill fish, that's about all I ever remember him doing. When the SW came to look at the apartment when he was trying to get Mattie, all he had in the fridge was tofu coldcuts and beer. He said he had takeout a lot. I agree that sometimes we get the fanfic image of Harm mixed up with the real Harm. Things seem to be exaggerated in fanfic, like him being a healthnut and a gourmet cook, Mac's appetite, etc. And they call each other flyboy and ninja girl way more than they ever did on the show! A certain amount of creative license is okay in FF, but IMO, we shouldn't bend or mold actual characters too much out of line. It happens tho and that's why there seems to be a blending in some people's minds about who Harm and Mac really are. Harm's a bachelor, so he probably only stocks his fridge when he's going to be wowing a dinner date like Bobbi (spaghetti), Annie (whole wheat pancakes), Ensign Lane, Catherine Gayle, and others he's cooked for. Okay, in that one episode, Harm and Renee were cooking some kind of chutney (broccoli and tofu??) and offered it to somebody. Then, Harm was supposedly taking a souffle out of the oven in 4% (in the script sides) so I'm not sure it's all Fanfic gospel. Mac ate at Harm's in Tribunal before the infamous "don't be gentle, be good" line. Not sure what they did after that line, though I know what I'd have done - attack him! Also he was going to cook dinner for them in "Need to Know" - remember they came in with the grocery bags & he pulls out a bunch of bananas. Judi, to answer your location question, Yes, there are neighborhoods of row homes just like that "NoUS". The ones further south, toward Capitol Hill, are nicer. Harm's place is on the fringe. If you consult a map, it's just inside the entrance to Gallaudett University for the Deaf (so no worries on wakin' the neighbors when CW comes out to play!).
