In reply to: Boston Tiger 's message, "I enjoyed Retrial more this time than when I first saw it. Does anyone else feel that way? What interactions did you like about it?" on 16:06:53 06/18/05 Sat

I hadn't watched it the first time around since I was still in JAG-exile, especially since the rumors were going around that Alicia was going to be a new SO for Harm. But watching the episode last night, I didn't really see anything to worry about, except maybe for Mac jumping to conclusions at the beginning that just because Alicia is a beautiful woman, Harm must be getting involved with her in some way. That conversation seemed kind of out of place, especially given Hail & Farewell and his promise. I guess she was right in 4% Solution - she was actively pushing him away. (NT) -- TracyJean, 10:37:18 06/11/05 Sat

Thats the sad part Tracy. Everuone was listening to the wrong rumors. There were a select few who knew from the start that Alicia was never more than a bit player, but no one believed those people. LOL (NT) -- Trish....one of those people. LOL, 10:53:18 06/11/05 Sat

Agreed Trish...al that anguish over something that wasnt true...and it wasnt the first time it happened either. (NT) -- mkim not missing those days at all., 11:01:17 06/11/05 Sat

Actually, Trish, Alicia was originally cast to be Harm's girlfriend. I heard that from at least three independent sources. They changed their minds however. It may be the writers didn't want to go there or the fans got too upset. It wasn't a rumor at all. (NT) -- judi, 12:39:50 06/11/05 Sat

Then who's sources are right. I heard from a person who was on the set that the actress who portrayed Alicia had other commitments all along and never intended to be more than a bit player. Then again,n we both cant be right, so we will agree to let you believe yours and i'll believe mine. the point being, she wasnt and she didnt. (NT) -- Trish....backing away from a conversation with no resolution., 13:42:15 06/11/05 Sat

I heard that Alicia was just supposed to be in a few eps - not alot of them. But she was written to be for Harm. That is from 4 people (I remembered another one) Noone knows for sure except for the real insiders.(NT)--judi, 13:51:57 06/11/05 Sat I don't think it matters much what was supposed to happen. What matters is that Mac thought that Harm and Alicia were dating. That made her think that Harm had moved on. So whoever said what were all right. Alicia appearing in this epidisode was a set up for what we saw in 4%. The damage was done, because of what Mac perceived to be the truth. (NT) -- Cece, 13:59:29 06/11/05 Sat
Cec, that is what I believed too and that's why I'm glad they used Alicia. I needed to see Mac jealous for me to believe she still loved Harm. Well, it accomplished exactly that. (NT) -- judi, 14:07:02 06/11/05 Sat

I personally never believed the spoilers about Alicia being the new SO for Harm. I choose to believe the spoilers were incorrect and there is no changing my mind on that. So like Trish said some of us will have to agree to disagree. (NT) -- Shell, 22:26:19 06/11/05 Sat

Judi is right and wise of TPTB to boot her out because many viewers are already leaving.A new gf for Harm would only trigger more viewers leaving especially we already saw Harm maturing and so in love with Mac.For him to go backwards is Jag suicide. (NT) -- Paash, 20:58:15 06/11/05 Sat

Ooookay...suddenly the subject is bigger than I thought,,,I'm outta here.. (NT) -- mkim skulking back to her corner, 16:37:25 06/11/05 Sat

She's like another Renee. (NT) -- nonshipper, 23:56:12 06/11/05 Sat

Did you see the look on her face as the guy Bud was defending kept telling Mac that she had been badly hurt by someone, and to not let it get her down. I couldn't decide if she wanted to break down and cry, or just rip his head off!! But it did stir up something huge for Mac. (NT) -- spudz, 10:50:04 06/11/05 Sat

I have to admit, I enjoyed it more this time. I was still in major angst over H and F II and the fall out from that, the first time I saw it. However, I still have a hate on for most of season ten so refused to tape it on general principles! (NT) -- can j, 11:57:25 06/11/05 Sat

Good that Harm didnt let us down because it would have been a turnoff. Nothing special in Alicia in and out.Blech. (NT) -- Paash, 20:50:52 06/11/05 Sat

I was among the many angsting and gagging over Alicia and that redhead because many dont trust TPTB. (NT) -- Paash, 20:55:14 06/11/05 Sat

I was actually gagging and worrying more over Mac's intimate involvement with Webb more than Harm's supposed involvement with Alicia and the redhead. Nothing ever came of those two, I wish we could have said the same with Webb. (NT) -- Cassie, 11:09:34 06/14/05 Tue

We were all really "cheesed off" too about the Mac story with the guy with 4 wives. Moskowitz (of "Lifeline" fame) wrote this one, but the points that were to move Mac along emotionally just did not quite work IMHO. I do love Mac teasing Harm, and I love when Bud says he wishes he would have thought of that - when the wives try to talk Mac into dropping the charges. Even worse than the irksome polygamist is the barely there blouses Professor Montez (Alicia) wore to Court. The final sceen the thing was falling off of her. (NT) -- Lucky - Could someone have at least thrown some should pads into that thing to prop up the front?, 19:50:42 06/13/05 Mon
