Wedding Bell Blues – Season 4

What It's About

As the title suggests, you are hereby cordially invited to attend the wedding of Ensign Harriet Beaumont Sims and Lieutenant (j.g.) Bud J. Roberts, Jr. at a time and place designated by the USA network or your living room VCR. LOL! However, the course of true love never did run smooth and neither will this one. Comedy abounds.

Reasons to Watch – Harm in summer whites, Harm in civvies (that beautiful, black leather jacket) and a real Navy wedding complete with crossed swords. This ep marks the first appearances of Bud's dad and brother, Mikey, and the last for Carolyn Imes.

Reasons to Tape – This ep is light-hearted JAG at its best. The gathering of the in-laws, the various "parties" and the saga of Harm's dress whites make this a memorable landmark in the history of the show. The scene in the Admiral's office with Mac and Carolyn Imes "appreciating" Harm and the various pairings in the receiving line add quite a bit of spice to go with the sweetness you'd expect.

Beside the obvious shipper echoes, my favorite scenes have to be the opening (watch it and you'll see) and Harm's journey to a club on "Ladies' Night." It's one of my all-time favorites for good writing and good fun. Watch it and you'll see. Happy viewing!
