What It's About --

Harm and Mac go flying in Harm's biplane only to wind up stranded in the mountains with a group of angry poachers on their trial.

Reasons to Watch � Harm in civvies. Harm in tight jeans. Harm in his "action" mode. Harm and Mac go camping on the economy plan, and the "B" story shows us Bud's debut appearance as a legal representative.

Reasons to Tape � If you ever wondered how we know the name of Harm's airplane, this is the episode for you. Shippers and non-shippers alike should consider this ep, "Harm and Mac 101." In it, we find out quite a bit more about each of our heroes than we had previously known. Mac talks about her troubled teen-age years, and in a rare moment of reflection, Harm tells us something about the time he spent recovering from that "crash while trying to land his Tomcat on a storm-tossed carrier at sea." This ep was the first, real attempt by TPTB to show us the growing friendship, partnership and "maybe" the beginnings of some other kind of "ship" between them. There's plenty of suspense in the main plot, but throughout the episode, we also get a glimpse of the early days of Harm and Mac and how they learned to work together.

For fans of flying and "bear in the woods" stories, this one ought to hold you. And for shippers, it's a must. Good, tight and well-written, "Full Engagement" is one of "the essentials." Enjoy.
