Yeah, they did have a good "connection" back then (when Mr. Gemmill was around). And that scene by the window . . . he looks sad, worried, wistful . . . but somehow also very "elegant" - the position of hish and, the grey shirt, the way he holds his shoulders.....he just looks *so good* and your heart goes out to him and you want it to all be all right for him and his friend.
